It is the oldest of the domestic breeds of dogs and originated in Egypt. It is tall, sleek, slim with sharp face, deep chest and smooth coat. It is seen in red, blue, fawn, fallow, brindle, black or white or any of these colours mixed with white. It stands between 27-30 cms and weight 27-30 kgs. Greyhound is an excellent home loving and guard dog. Homes with large lawns are ideal. It needs a lot of exercise
