The influence of dietary supplementation of enzymes on performance of commercial broilers was studied in three experiments. On each treatment, 4 replicates of 8 broilers (Vencobb male) in experiment 1 and six replicates 8 broilers (Hubbard male) in experiment 2 and 8 replicates of 6 broilers (Hubbard male) in expt.3 were maintained in battery brooders. The efficacy of 8 commercial enzymes in expt 1, 3 commercial enzymes and two separate mixtures of individual commercial enzymes in expt.2 and 2 commercial enzymes and two separate mixtures of individual commercial enzymes in expt.3 were evaluated by dietary supplementation to broilers. The performance of broilers was evaluated in terms of body weight gain, feed intake, feed/gain, livability and dressing yield. None of the enzyme preparations tested could improve the performance of broilers.
