  • Vitamin A
  1. Reduced production & hatchability
  2. Hyper keratosis of mucous - membrane of mouth & esophagus.
  3. Blood in the egg.

 


Blood in the egg

  • Vitamin D:
  1. Rickets & Osteomalasia
  2. Decreased Hatchability

Deformity of keel bone

3. Vitamin E:

  1. Encephalomalacia
  2. Decreased Hatchability

 


Haemorrhages in thigh muscles

  • Vitamin B1: (Thiamine):

1.Loss of appetite, retarded growth

 

Paralysis

  • Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin):
  • Decreased Hatchability
  • Embryonic mortality during incubation (dead - in -shell_
  • Hatched chicks may be dwarf & oedematous.
  • Leg Paralysis

 


Curled toe paralysis

  • Pantothenic acid:
  • Dermatitis, retarded growth and ruffled feathers.
  • Scale like lesions in the corners of mouth & eyelid margins.
  • Decreased hatchability with the early embryonic
  • Vitamin B 6 (Pyridoxin)
  • Poor growth & Nervous signs.
  • Chicks run aimlessly
  • Chicks may roll completely on their backs with rapid jerking motions of their feet and head.
  • Biotin
  • Dermatitis of the feet and skin around beak and eyes.
  • Folic acid
  • Increased Embryonic Mortality.
