Indication
General tonic in debility, malnutrition, anaemia, helminthiasis, chronic skin affections, and nervous disorders.  A good proportion of successful results has been obtained in the treatment of ringworm in the bovine.
Composition
Acetylarsan is a brand of diethylamine acetarsol solution(aqueous solution of diethylamin 3 - acetylamino - 4 - hydroxyphenylarsonate).  When arsenic is presented in organic form,  its toxicity is very  considerably modified, and pentavalent arsenical compounds, of which diethylamine acetarsol is an example,  are much less toxic tan trivalent compounds.

Precautions
Although ' Acetylarsan ' is well tolerated, it should be used cautiously in animals with a history of nephritis or albuminuria.  Vomiting after a first dose in small animals may occur occasionally, and such evidence of idiosyncrasy calls for reducytion of the dose.
