Indication
Cadfeed is recommended as a dietary support :
1. To compensate nutritional deficiencies which might  lead to
* Anorexia
* Disturbed ruminal movements & ruminal microflora
* Indigestion & ruminal acidosis
Delayed puberty, anoestrus and repeat breeding

2. To improve functioning of ruminal microflora and enhancing syenthsis of Vitamin B12 in rumen.  Also as dietary support while treating ruminants with antibacterials or anthelminitics.
Composition
Each bolus contains:
Nicotinamide    : 100 mg
Copper Sulphate : 250 mg
Cobalt Chloride : 40 mg
Ferrous Sulphate: 500 mg
Dibasic Sodium Phosphate : 100 mg
Sodium bicarbonate : 600 mg
Magnesium Trisilicate : 800 mg
Piper nigrum   : 100 mg
Zingiber officinale  : 20 mg
Andrographis paniculata : 220 mg
Apium graveolens        : 100 mg
Dried yeast powder      : 700 mg
Lysine                  : 20 mg
Methionine              : 20 mg
Dextrose                : 500 mg

In case of delayed puberty or anoestus
* Regular supplementation of 1 bolus daily for 20 days.

Administration
1 ml per 20 kg b.w. by I/M route
A single injection of 1 ml Butalex per 20 kg b.w. (2.5 mg buparvaquone per kg) is usually sufficient.
In severe cases, a further treatment with Butalex, at the same dose rate of 1 ml per 20 kg b.w. may be required.  Normally this should be given within 48-72 hours of the initial injection.
